Duties and Responsibilities
- Lead the design and development of advanced automation systems.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and other team members.
- Develop detailed technical specifications and ensure the integration of new systems.
- Program PLCs and SCADA systems, and develop customized HMIs for automation processes.
- Optimize control systems for efficiency and reliability.
- Oversee the installation of automation equipment and ensure proper commissioning of systems.
- Lead testing and validation efforts to confirm system performance.
- Conduct routine system maintenance to ensure smooth operation and minimize downtime.
- Lead troubleshooting efforts to diagnose and resolve complex system issues.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including operations, maintenance, and management.
- Train operators and other staff on system use and functionality.
